Siena President Massimo Mezzaroma says Mattia Destro will now have to decide whether to accept or reject a move to Roma.
The player is co-owned between the Tuscans and Genoa, but the Giallorossi have a deal to sign the Italian Under-21 international.
“There is an agreement between us and Genoa, but it is now up to the player to decide,” Mezzaroma told Radio Radio.
“He’s wanted by some important clubs and I’ve told him to not just look at the money.”
While Roma have a deal with the clubs, it is understood that Juventus have offered the striker more lucrative personal terms – as well as the possibility of European football.
“Juventus have the Champions League to play for, but I think it is the dream of every Italian striker to have Roma boss Zdenek Zeman as your Coach,” Mezzaroma continued.
“There are a host of unknown players who have become famous after the Zeman cure.
“If he chose Juventus? Then we’d have to start discussions all over again…”
