Roma outcast Marco Borriello is expected to make his decision in the next 48 hours with Tottenham rising to the top of the list.
The striker spent the last six months on loan at Juventus, who did not take up their option to buy him.
Zdenek Zeman has made it clear Borriello is not a part of his plans for this season, so he has been linked with Fulham, Genoa, Galatasaray and Werder Bremen.
According to the latest reports on Sky Sport Italia and RadioCalciomercato, Tottenham are the new favourites to sign the former Milan hitman.
It is claimed new manager Andre Villas Boas is a fan of Borriello and would like to bring him to White Hart Lane on loan.
Borriello is expected to make his decision in the next 48 hours.
