Juventus saw talks with Galatasaray collapse, so could now send Felipe Melo to Spartak Moscow instead.
The Brazilian spent last season on loan in Istanbul and had hoped to make the move a permanent one, but talks hit big problems last night.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juve are already in talks for an alternative solution to getting him off their pay roll.
It’s believed Spartak Moscow have made a bid worth €8.5m to buy Melo plus performance-related bonuses.
This is still below the €10m asking price put forward by Juventus, but is an improvement on the €6.5m offered by Galatasaray.
Melo came to Turin from Fiorentina in 2009 for €24m, but failed to win over the fans.
