Fabio Capello is “very proud to be the Coach of the Russian national team. Russia have great potential.”
The 66-year-old tactician signed a two-year contract with the RFU today for a reported €10m per season, although the exact financial details were not disclosed.
“I’m very proud to be the Coach of the Russian national team,” said the former England manager in a Press conference.
“Russia have great potential. I will live and work in Moscow.”
Capello quit the England job just a few months before Euro 2012 following a disagreement with the FA over John Terry’s captaincy.
