Michael Bradley says he knows that he has to illustrate his ability after joining Italian giants Roma from Chievo.

“I do feel the pressure of having to prove I’m worth the investment the club have made in me and prove that they’ve made the right decision,” the American noted.

“I want to succeed at Roma as I view it as an important test. I don’t want to disappoint them and I don’t want to let down my teammates or the fans.”

The midfielder has moved to the Stadio Olimpico at a cost of €3.75m and he’s quickly settled into his new surroundings.

“All I’m doing is trying to live every single moment here to the full, training session after training session,” he continued.

“We’re still in pre-season and we have to work hard, as it’s now that we have to get into the best shape possible to cope with the demands of the season ahead of us.

“There’s still a long way to go – I’m taking it one step at a time.”
