Fiorentina hold Cerci and Jovetic

Fiorentina director of sport Daniele Pradè has assured fans they “will build a team capable of playing good football,” including Alessio Cerci and Stevan Jovetic.

The Viola supporters have staged a number of protests over the summer at what they consider to be a poor transfer campaign, especially amid consistent reports of a Juventus offer for Jovetic.

“There are many names on the table when it comes to midfielders, as we are following different situations and will see how they evolve,” said Pradè.

“I cannot give precise names at the moment, but we will build a team capable of playing good football.

“Cerci is not for sale, while Jovetic is definitely our player and he will do his talking on the field.”
