Fiorentina have officially agreed terms with Villarreal for Spanish international midfielder Borja Valero.
The 27-year-old has arrived on a permanent transfer, although the financial details have not been confirmed.
It is reported the deal cost the Viola around €7m.
Borja Valero grew up in the Real Madrid youth academy, then played for Mallorca, West Bromwich Albion and Villarreal.
Fiorentina have also been heavily linked with an offer for Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani, but it's reported the club could sign both the Italian and Borja Valero.
