The Roma squad has started the second half of pre-season training, leaving behind Gabriel Heinze, Simone Perrotta, David Pizarro, Jose Angel, Marco Borriello and more.

New Coach Zdenek Zeman has made it clear which players are still in his plans for this campaign and wielded the axe.

Only a group of 23 have left for the training camp in Irdning, Austria, which will last until August 13.

Among those left behind and therefore put on the market are Heinze, Perrotta, Pizarro, Borriello, Jose Angel, Aleandro Rosi and Stefano Okaka.

Of these players, Heinze was the big surprise, as he was expected to bring experience to the back line.

Instead, the Argentine could now be on his way to Bologna or Olympiakos.

It is already reported that Milan are interested in Pizarro, who spent the last six months on loan at Manchester City.

Jose Angel is on the verge of a move to Benfica, while Rosi is close to Parma.
