Sebastian Giovinco hopes to get the Number 10 jersey and admits it is “strange” for Juventus to play without Antonio Conte on the bench.
“It is strange playing without Conte on the bench, but we have to be stronger than this and not use it as an alibi,” Giovinco told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“The other day at the Vinovo training camp, President Andrea Agnelli told us to think about nothing except what happens on the pitch.”
The Atomic Ant returned to Turin this summer after his co-ownership spell at Parma.
“Compared to the past, everything is different for me now, but I prefer to concentrate on the present.
“I wore the 12 jersey against Malaga and I like it, so it could be the definitive choice, but if Conte gives me the 10 then I’d be even happier.”
