Sampdoria are reportedly ready to strike a deal with Roma in order to bring Tottenham’s Bruno Uvini to Serie A.
The Under-21 international defender has impressed at the Olympics and has long been linked with the Giallorossi.
He already has an Italian passport and spent the last six months on loan at Tottenham Hotspur with an option to make the move permanent for £3.1m (€3.7m).
However, Uvini is widely expected to return to Sao Paolo over the summer.
There are reports Samp could work with Roma to buy the Brazilian in a co-ownership deal, allowing him to spend his first season in Serie A at Marassi to gain experience.
