Fabrizio Miccoli has relaxed again at Palermo and believes that he will sign a new contract with the club by next summer.
The diminutive hit-man was linked with a move to Al-Nasr this summer but after seemingly turning that down, vented his frustration that the Rosanero had yet to offer him a new contract.
However, President Maurizio Zamparini looks to have followed up on his public declaration that the veteran would receive a new offer, as Miccoli has changed his tone.
“I feel good here. The President is right when he says that we are in tune,” the No 10 told reporters today.
“Zamparini has said many times that I will renew my contract and in recent days things have gone well for me. I will probably renew my contract and if so it will be in June.”
