Reports indicate that whilst Ricky Kaka has lowered his wage demands to facilitate a return to Milan, Real Madrid are not budging on their request.

Los Blancos President Florentino Perez is understood to have informed Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani last week that the Spaniards are not prepared to accept the Rossoneri’s offer of a free loan to back the player.

This stance prompted Galliani to publicly declare any move for the former No 22 as ‘almost impossible’, but hope now comes with the Gazzetta dello Sport running the line that the player has relented in his ‘very high’ wage demands.

However, where progress has been made with the player, it is understood that Real are still not budging on their position.
