Nicolas Burdisso is still of the mindset that Roma can be title challengers this season, believing that pre-season has improved them greatly.
The Argentine is back to full fitness for the Giallorossi and, after being involved in Zdenek Zeman’s pre-season preparations, is enthusiastic for the future.
“We are all pushing. It has been a month of work. We are at the end of this second training retreat, it was a good month for work and dedication.
“We’re good, I think we’re growing and we are doing what the Coach wants. He is creating a strong group, I think we can aim for as high as possible.
“Our objective is fixed. We must fight for the Scudetto, even if a month ago when I spoke to the media we were not yet at that point.
“The group has strengthened in this time, players have come in and we are ready to aim high, then, on the field we will do our talking.
“There are strong teams like Juve, which have been enforced, then those like Milan, Inter and Napoli. It will be a fight.”
