A long saga seems to be coming to an end with Atalanta striker Manolo Gabbiadini ready to complete his long awaited move to Juventus.
Called up to face England this week in what could be his debut for Gli Azzurri, 20-year-old Gabbiadini has been the subject of much speculation during the summer, with a move to Juve regularly suggested.
However now, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal is set to go through following Australian international James Troisi’s medical with Juventus last night.
Attacking force Troisi, 24, arrives at Juventus from Kayserispor after a breakthrough season in the Turkish Super Lig, but will be directly passed on to Atalanta in a co-ownership deal.
In return, Juventus will receive Atalanta product Gabbiadini, who is then immediately expected to join Bologna on loan. The Old Lady will reportedly pay Atalanta €2.5m plus the co-ownership of Troisi.
