Marcelo Estigarribia has now officially completed his move to Sampdoria after spending last season at Juventus.
The Paraguayan winger had been on loan in Turin for last term, but Juve decided not to take up their option from Deportivo Maldonado.
His return to South America was a brief one, as Estigarribia is back in Serie A with newly-promoted Sampdoria.
It is another one-year loan deal with option to buy at the end of the season.
The agreement had been sorted out last week, but the last pieces of red tape were finally cleared this afternoon.
Estigarribia turns 25 next month.
