Spanish club Rayo Vallecano want to take playmaker Franco Vazquez on a one-year loan deal from Palermo.
Rayo opened their La Liga campaign with a 1-0 win over Granada at the weekend, but new boss Paco Jemez remains intent on strengthening his squad ahead of a possible relegation scrap.
Vazquez, who hails from the same city as former Palermo playmaker Javier Pastore, moved to Italy in January but has made a limited impact.
AS reports that Rayo have contacted the Rosanero with a loan offer and the Barbera outfit are now considering their options.
