Giampaolo Pazzini could make his Milan debut against Sampdoria on Sunday afternoon, but Massimo Ambrosini and Ignazio Abate are out.

The striker just arrived from Inter this week, but Alexandre Pato’s latest thigh injury means Il Pazzo may well be thrown in at the deep end.

The only other available forwards for Coach Massimiliano Allegri are Stephan El Shaarawy and Robinho.

Ambrosini and Abate are not included in the squad, as they trained separately from the rest of the side due to knocks.

Also sidelined are Rodney Strasser, Didac Vila and Sulley Ali Muntari on long-term injuries.

Milan-Sampdoria kicks off at 17.00 UK time, click here for a match preview.
