It’s reported Manchester City are in negotiations to sign Fiorentina defender Matija Nastasic for €16m plus Stefan Savic.
According to Italian transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, talks are intensifying for a permanent transfer.
Nastasic is a 19-year-old Serbian defender who stands at 1.87m tall (over 6ft) and showed great promise in Serie A last season.
The former Partizan Belgrade starlet notched up two goals in 27 official appearances last term and is already a senior Serbian international.
It is claimed Manchester City are close to agreeing a transfer worth €16m plus performance-related bonuses and ownership of Montenegro international centre-back Savic.
Savic only joined the Citizens in July 2011 for £6m from Partizan Belgrade, where he was a teammate to Nastasic.
