Dimitar Berbatov will reportedly fly out to Italy on Wednesday to complete a move from Manchester United to Fiorentina.
The Viola are looking to end their summer spending with a new striker and United have allegedly accepted a €5m offer for the Bulgarian.
Berbatov, who cost United over £30m in 2008, will put pen to paper on a two-year deal with an option for a third.
The 31-year-old could undergo his medical at some stage today before officially signing for Vincenzo Montella’s club.
United have decided to sell the centre-forward after beating Juventus to the services of Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie.
