Fredy Guarin has applauded the efforts of his Inter teammates after they secured a spot in today’s Europa League draw.

The Nerazzurri collected a 2-2 with Vaslui at San Siro last night after goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi was sent off in the first half.

Despite falling behind on two occasions, the Beneamata hit back with the Colombian netting the final goal.

“The desire to win this game made the difference in the second half,” he told Inter Channel. “The desire of everyone, not just mine.

“We didn’t want to go out defeated.”

The former Porto player didn’t start the game, but made a difference once he was thrown on by boss Andrea Stramaccioni.

“I try to always give my all and I tried to do it when I came on,” he continued. “My goal? Scoring always gives you a huge rush.”
