Adriano Galliani hailed Giampaolo Pazzini’s hat-trick and Nigel De Jong, but insisted there’s “no row” with Massimiliano Allegri.
The Milan Vice-President was celebrating last night’s 3-1 win over Bologna, which saw De Jong, Bojan Krkic and M’Baye Niang make their debuts.
“I am happy for Il Pazzo, as I don’t remember anyone else scoring a hat-trick on his first start. It was like watching Pippo Inzaghi,” grinned Galliani on Sportmediaset.
“I also really liked Luca Antonini’s performance, as he put in some good crosses. De Jong did well and we signed him to give a hand to our midfield.”
The last few days have seen Galliani and Coach Allegri debating the target for this season in public.
“We said the same thing,” insisted the director. “I said we must fight for the title, while he said we need to finish in the top three.”
There are more injury problems, though, as Kevin-Prince Boateng will undergo surgery on a fractured metatarsal in his right hand, while Riccardo Montolivo limped off with a suspected thigh strain.
