Five Serie A suspensions

Pescara stopper Christian Terlizzi has been handed a hefty ban following his dismissal, while four other players will be suspended for Week 3.

Terlizzi, who only joined the newly promoted club this summer, was sent off in the 3-0 defeat to Torino on Saturday.

However, he’s been banned for three matches – rather than just one – for aiming foul and abusive language towards match officials.

The other men who will be forced to watch from the sidelines when Serie A resumes are Udinese’s Zeljko Brkic, Felipe of Siena, Roma’s Pablo Osvaldo and Atalanta’s Federico Peluso.
