Genoa have announced that Julian Alberto Velazquez has completed his move after doubts emerged over the transfer.

The Italian club had agreed a deal with Independiente for the defender, but a row over payment was thought to have scuppered the switch.

However, Genoa have confirmed that they have acted within the rules and the Argentine stopper belongs to them.
