Milan President Silvio Berlusconi reportedly told Inter fans “you will regret” signing Antonio Cassano. “He won’t take long to cause chaos in the locker room.”
FantAntonio moved to Inter in a swap with Giampaolo Pazzini this summer, though the Rossoneri also paid €7m cash as part of the deal.
“You seem affable and balanced. It’s a shame you have only one defect: you support Inter and not Milan,” Berlusconi reportedly told magistrate Ingroia in Palermo today.
“You Interisti will regret having taken Cassano off us. He won’t take long to cause chaos in the locker room.”
The quotes were from Il Fatto Quotidiano, who claimed they overheard the conversation.
It has never been entirely clarified why Cassano demanded a transfer, but he launched an attack on Vice-President Adriano Galliani in his Inter presentation Press conference.
