Niang: 'Milan better than Everton'

New buy M’Baye Niang played with the youth team today and insists he “definitely made the right decision” turning down Everton for Milan.

The French striker was a summer swoop from Caen and has already made his Serie A debut as a substitute, but played with the Primavera squad this afternoon to improve fitness levels.

“I still have to work hard in order to convince Coach Massimiliano Allegri to focus on me and make my impact on Italian football,” said Niang.

“I definitely made the right decision choosing Milan and turning down the Everton option. I was welcomed with kindness and respect by the whole locker room.

“I am the youngest one here, so I have to show great respect for the Rossoneri group.”
