Reports suggest Giovanni Stroppa could be the first Serie A Coach axed this season after two Pescara defeats.
The tactician was promoted from Lega Pro side Sud Tirol to the top flight as a replacement for Zdenek Zeman this summer.
He started badly with back-to-back 3-0 defeats against Inter and Torino.
Although the club and President Daniele Sebastiani publicly backed Stroppa, there are growing rumours that the Coach is on thin ice.
If he fails to pick up points against Sampdoria and Bologna, then it’s believed Pescara will sack Stroppa.
