Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has insisted that his club and Napoli completed the best pieces of transfer business this summer.
Speaking to La Nazione, the former Roma official hailed their decisions to keep star players at their respective clubs.
“The two best operations of the market were Napoli’s desire to keep Edinson Cavani and our choice to keep Stevan Jovetic,” he underlined.
Cavani was handed a new €4.5m a season contract at the San Paolo to keep him happy amid interest from a host of Europe’s biggest sides.
