Mirko Vucinic insists Juventus are a force to be reckoned with “even if we didn’t sign the top player everyone wanted.”
The Bianconeri had been linked with the likes of Robin Van Persie, Edin Dzeko, Fernando Llorente and Stevan Jovetic, but took Nicklas Bendtner on loan from Arsenal as a stop-gap solution.
“I can say Juve are stronger than last season and, even if we didn’t sign the top player everyone wanted, I am sure that I, Sebastian Giovinco, Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella will ensure he is not missed.
“Let’s also not forget Bendtner, who is a champion and I’m sure will settle into our squad soon,” Vucinic told IlCalcio24.com.
