Jorge Martinez has moved to Romanian outfit Cluj with the intention of returning to Italian football next summer.
The Uruguayan completed a loan switch earlier this month, but his agent insists that his client has eyes on a Serie A future.
“Martinez wants to prove that he still has a lot to say,” Daniel Delgado told ItaSportPress. “He isn’t finished as a footballer.
“He has joined Cluj to recover his best condition. With calm, he will once again be the player he was and will come back to Italy.
“He’ll find his best form again – just like when he was playing for Catania.”
Martinez was signed by Juventus from Catania in the summer of 2010 for €12m, but he struggled to make an impact in Turin.
In 2011-12, he played in just 13 Serie A games while on loan at Cesena.
