Genoa will be without summer signing Juan Manuel Vargas for the next three weeks after he picked up an injury on international duty.

The Peruvian winger has been diagnosed with a lesion to the left thigh muscle and club medical staff have ruled him out for approximately 21 days.

Vargas had already been expected to miss Sunday’s Serie A clash with Juventus.
