Anderlecht General Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck remains respectful of Milan ahead of his club's visit to San Siro tomorrow.

“We have to play Milan on Tuesday, and the Rossoneri are a great team” he told reporters at a press conference today. “We just have to try and play a good game.”

“We will go there to try and snatch a point and prove that we are worthy of the Champions League.”

Van Holsbeeck then commented on Milan's summer exodus and poor start to the season.

Van Holsbeeck then commented on Milan's summer exodus and poor start to the season.

“In 2013-14, the Financial Fair Play regulations will come into force, and Milan have realised the need to pay attention to that.

“That is why they have sold more than they purchased this summer. But Milan are still a big club.”

Van Holsbeeck is realistic about the Belgian champions chances in Group C.

“We have a role to play and we will try to interpret it in the best way we can. We should be able to do something interesting.

“Our ambition is to finish in third place in the group and earn the Europa League.”
