Paris Saint-Germain ace Thiago Silva is keeping his fingers crossed that former club Milan will find a way out of their current slump.

Paris Saint-Germain ace Thiago Silva is keeping his fingers crossed that former club Milan will find a way out of their current slump.

“It’s disappointing to see Milan going through these difficult times, but I’m supporting them because I’ve left many friends behind there,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

The Brazilian and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were sold by the Diavolo in the summer and marked their PSG Champions League debuts with goals in the 4-1 win over Dynamo Kiev.

“I’m happy to be in a great team like PSG and I hope to do as well here as I did for Milan,” the centre-back continued. “I want to be as successful as I was in Rosanero.

“We had a mediocre start to the season because we have changed a host of players and it is only normal that we wouldn’t be ready straight away.”
