Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has been left stunned by the ability of new Italian international Marco Verratti.
The 19-year-old moved to France in the summer after PSG beat Juventus and Napoli to the player who shone for Pescara in Serie B last term.
Verratti has made an immediate impact in the capital and the former Milan boss is confident that he has a star of the future in his ranks.
“I have seen very few players of his age with such quality in my lifetime,” Ancelotti is quoted as saying. “If Marco doesn’t get big-headed then he’ll have an extraordinary career to match his skills.”
Verratti, likened by some to Juventus’ Andrea Pirlo, made his full international debut in the 2-1 August friendly defeat to England.
