Mattia De Sciglio says that he and Milan teammate Stephan El Shaarawy are at the right club at the right time.
The outfit made some substantial changes to their squad over the summer as they attempted to cut costs and their decision to give youth a chance has benefitted the duo.
“Fortunately Stephan and I are around during this period where young players are being given a shot,” the defender told Milan Channel.
“We are just trying to make the most of the opportunities that we are being handed.”
Both players are 19. De Sciglio is a full-back who has made three Serie A appearances this term.
El Shaarawy, meanwhile, is a forward who has scored three goals in five appearances so far this season.
