Ivo Pulga is officially the new Cagliari Coach in conjunction with Diego Lopez after Massimo Ficcadenti left the club.
There were reports since Monday that Ficcadenti has resigned, as they are the only side without a win in Serie A this season.
Today Primavera youth team manager Diego Lopez was in charge of the training session, but the club released a statement insisting no decision had been made and Lopez does not have the paperwork needed to be a Serie A Coach.
However, tonight Cagliari released another statement confirming Pulga is the Coach with Lopez as his assistant manager.
Pulga is another ex-Cagliari player who was in the team that went from Serie C1 to the top flight under Claudio Ranieri.
The announcement suggests Ficcadenti’s departure was a mutual decision.
