“I’ll just have to be content with my 10 caps even if I won’t hide the fact that I would have wanted to play more games,” he stated.
“I don’t really know why that didn’t happen…”
The former Juventus” data-scaytid=”6″>Juventus, Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”7″>Fiorentina and Benfica forward was given his debut back in February 2003 in a 1-0 win over Portugal.
Miccoli won his last cap in November 2004 when he actually scored his second international goal in a 1-0 against Finland.
The pint-sized forward hit the headlines at the weekend with a stunning hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Chievo Verona.
