Gianluca Pagliuca is a fan of Samir Handanovic, but he’s criticised former club Inter for the way they treated Julio Cesar.
The Nerazzurri signed the Udinese custodian in the summer after telling the Brazilian – part of their treble winning side – to find a new club.
“Handanovic is a very reliable ‘keeper,” the 1994 World Cup custodian told Il Sussidiario. “He’s done well for years in Udine so he’s not a surprise. He has personality too.
“However, I don’t think that Inter behaved in the right way with regard to their comportment of Julio Cesar.
“He wasn’t treated in the right way when you consider all that he has done for the club over the years.”
Inter signed Julio Cesar in 2005. He joined QPR in late August after he rescinded his contract with the Beneamata.
