The agent of Hugo Campagnaro is hopeful that his client will sign a new deal with Napoli by the end of the month.
The Argentine has less than a year left on his current agreement, but talks regarding a renewal are at an advanced stage.
And like a free football bet, Napoli look like they are ready to take a gamble on a player who is now the age of 32.
“We have been in discussions with Napoli for some time,” Alejandro Mazzoni told TMW on Wednesday afternoon.
“I can say that, in the space of a couple of weeks, we are aiming to put pen to paper in order to make things official.
“Napoli want Campagnaro and Campagnaro wants Napoli, so there should not be any problems at all.”
The centre-back joined the Azzurri in the summer of 2009 from Sampdoria.
