Salvatore Aronica could be in hot water after the Napoli defender attacked a local journalist after the Udinese win.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the two men clashed in the mixed zone following the Azzurri’s 2-1 win last night.

Aronica is alleged to have verbally threatened local TV reporter Antonio Corrado with shouts of “I’ll kill you” before he is understood to have hit out at his victim.

The two men were separated by those present and Aronica did, after just a few minutes, apologise for his actions.

It’s unclear whether the club or the journalist will take any further action against the 34-year-old stopper.
