Atalanta have insisted that boss Stefano Colantuono is safe despite a third straight defeat in Serie A.
The Nerazzurri suffered a 2-0 reverse at Roma on Sunday following a 2-1 loss at Catania and a 5-1 home drubbing to Torino.
“We are going through a delicate phase,” director general Pierpaolo Marino commented. “I hope we come out of it soon.
“The side is there, we are just missing the results, even if I think we are presently being affected by player absences.
“We, nevertheless, have faith in Colantuono.”
Atalanta are in the relegation zone given that they started the campaign with a two-point deduction.
