Mirko Vucinic believes that Juventus have underlined their quality with their varying performances over their last three games.

Although wins against Roma and Siena were split by a disappointing display in the 1-1 draw with Shakhtar Donestk, the striker is content with how the season is going.

“Roma, Shakhtar and Siena. One week, three games, three different approaches,” he wrote on his personal website.

“With Roma we enjoyed a perfect first half, playing a high level match. In our Champions League home debut we never gave up even after the goal conceded. On Sunday at Siena, we fought until the end for a fundamental victory.

“A great team must know how to suffer, fight and win in order to aim for the top and demonstrate that they have great character.”

Champions Juventus are joint top of the table with six wins and a draw from their opening seven games.

They face fellow pace-setters Napoli when Serie A resumes on October 20 following the international break.

The Bianconeri are third in their Champions League group after two draws – two points behind Chelsea and Shakhtar.
