Atalanta’s Luca Cigarini is a player who has attracted the interest of Milan, his agent has confirmed.
“He is a player who Milan like,” Giovanni Bia told TMW on Thursday. “There was contact between clubs in the summer, but then Cigarini returned to Bergamo on loan.
“A January move? It all depends on the desire of Milan and also on whether Atalanta could find a suitable replacement for him.
“After all, Cigarini is not an important player for Atalanta, he is fundamental for them.”
The former Italian Under-21 international, born in June 1986, is actually a Napoli player, but he’s been loaned out to Sevilla and the Nerazzurri since the summer of 2010.
