Fiorentina captain Manuel Pasqual has praised Coach Vincenzo Montella, claiming his influence has brought serenity to the team.
The 38-year-old tactician joined the Viola from Catania over the summer, and the veteran full-back has commended his boss on the positive start made by the side.
“Montella has brought peace [to Fiorentina],” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He puts everyone on the same level – young players and experienced players. The boss has brought serenity to the squad.
“The Coach has given me confidence and I feel really good at the moment. I just hope it stays this way throughout the season.”
He also commented on the return of Luca Toni, who rejoined the Tuscan side for his second spell at the club, having won the Capocannoniere award for top goalscorer in Serie A back in 2006.
“Toni? I hope he scores 30 goals again!” Pasqual quipped.
