Viola looking to keep Viviano

Fiorentina have already started work on signing Emiliano Viviano on a permanent basis from Palermo.

The Italian international goalkeeper, a massive Viola fan, moved to Tuscany in the summer on loan from the Sicilian giants.

The Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the club see him as a long-term option for their No 1 shirt and they will aim to keep him in the Fiorentina jersey.

Palermo are prepared to sell and value the former Brescia, Bologna and Inter goalkeeper at around €7.5m.

Viviano, 26, has played in all seven of the clubs League games so far this season, conceding six goals in the process.
