Robinho wants to stay at Milan

Robinho has played down more links with Santos. “I have a contract with Milan,” stated the Brazilian international.

The 28-year-old started his career with the Brazilian outfit and they later netted him on loan while he was at Manchester City.

However he continues to be linked with the outfit, even though he signed a four-year deal with the Rossoneri in the summer of 2010.

“I don’t know if Santos are really that interested in me or if they are ready to make a concrete offer,” the forward told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“They were my first team and I have always had a special relationship with them, but you have to think about the present.

“Right now I have a contract with the Rossoneri, I want to respect it and I’m happy here because I feel important at this club.”

Robinho has yet to score in four Serie A games so far this term.
