Milan chief Adriano Galliani is confident he would be able to get the best out of rebellious Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli. “He’d be on the straight and narrow.”

The Italian international was publicly warned last week that he does not “set a good example” at Eastlands, fuelling rumours of a sale.

“I wouldn’t want to talk about Balotelli, but I cannot deny I have a natural fondness for him,” said Rossoneri Vice-President Galliani today.

“I don’t think it would be so difficult to keep him on the straight and narrow.”

Milan would be hot favourites to sign Balotelli if he were to leave Manchester City, as he has always declared himself a fan of the club.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently said he would like a return just months after joining PSG.

“It would certainly be suggestive, but at the moment highly impractical,” replied Galliani.
