Sampdoria lost their unbeaten run and are without a win in four, but Ciro Ferrara is sure “we’ll give it our all” to turn things around against Parma.

The Blucerchiati had an amazing start to the season, but have hit some obstacles recently and face a relegation dogfight at the Tardini today. Click here for a match preview.

“It won’t be easy, but we will give it our all to earn the three points,” said Ferrara.

“Aside from the result, I would like to see the spirit that has almost always characterised my squad. Basically, the opposite of the first half performance against Chievo.

“We really want to get back on the field after the break for international duty. Unfortunately it is our fifth away match in eight rounds against a fired up Parma side. This fixture means a lot to them too.”

Around 3,000 Sampdoria fans are expected to make the journey to Parma for this afternoon’s game.

“Our fans represent another reason for us to prove how much we care about this club and, for them, try to honour the jersey. They can push us on further beyond our limits.”
