Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Montella will spend this week trying to figure out how to replace David Pizarro in the game against Lazio.
The Chilean midfielder picked up a yellow card in the 1-1 draw against Chievo which will rule him out of Week 9.
Montella, according to La Nazione, will consider three different strategies ahead of the Artemio Franchi tie.
He could use Ruben Olivera in that role or ask Borja Valero to create, with the latter being replaced in his usual role by Giulio Migliaccio.
The other possibility is that Alberto Aquilani could be thrown back into the first team after injury, although he’s likely to start the game on the bench.
