Inter and Juve don’t scare Gilardino

Alberto Gilardino is confident that Bologna can get their season back on track – despite games against Inter and Juventus on the horizon.

The loss against Cagliari at the weekend was their second straight defeat and third in four games. It means they are in the relegation zone.

“We need to forget about what has happened in the past,” the 30-year-old summer signing from Genoa stated. “We’ll just have to start work again today.

“It is true that we have sides such as Inter and Juventus in the games ahead of us, but it is also true that we won’t start those matches already beaten…”

Bologna host third-placed Inter this weekend, while they will travel to leaders Juventus in Week 10.
