Novara have officially sacked Coach Attilio Tesser and handed the team to Primavera boss Giacomo Gattuso.
The Serie B side wielded the axe this evening after four defeats in the last six rounds.
He is replaced by Primavera youth team tactician Gattuso and Carlo Perrone, who was already part of Tesser’s staff.
It is not clear whether this is a temporary measure until a more senior Coach can be found.
Tesser started his Novara career in 2009, securing their promotion from Lega Pro and then Serie B to their first Serie A campaign in 55 years.
He had already been sacked in January only to be recalled in March, but could not avoid their drop back into Serie B.
